Principal’s Welcome Message
We, the Arsenio Cruz Herrera Elementary School, better known as “A.C. Herrera” welcome the new school year with enthusiam, pride and honor in cooperation with the Division of City Schools Manila to uphold its commitment to provide excellent service.
Through this school website, information will be easily accessed, linkages will be bridged communication will be better served; and updates will be readily available to our stakeholders.
We will live up to the Division’s tagline ” Excellence is a lifestyle”.

ARSENIO CRUZ HERRERA
A.C. Herrera started with just two rented rooms as Bo. Obrero Primary School as an annex of Bo. Obrero Elem. School.
Because of the growing need of the community, the school slowly gained an increase in its enrollment.
The City of Manila rented Lina Yao Building, a three-story building located at A.C. Herrera Street which serves as their home from school year 1968-1969.
As the grade five learning made their sixth grade it marked a milestone for the school to becoming a complete Primary School.
Independently the enrollment of the school increase and with the initiation of Atty. Felipe Pangilinan, President of PTCA, 1971-1972. They looked for a possible place for the school building.
They found a 781 square meter lot owned by the government located at Matang Tubig.
July 16, 1991 was the groi=und breaking ceremony for the Arsenio Cruz Herrera School Building.
